Toadnuts

Toad NUTS (Noordhoek's Unpaid Toad Savers) is a volunteer group whose aim it is to save the Western Leopard Toad (Amietophrynus pantherinus) from extinction. Currently listed on the Red Data list of Species as "Critically endangered in the wild", the Western Leopard Toad only occurs in the greater Cape Town area.

Leopardstone Hill is named after our famous endangered resident - the Western Leopard Toad. Alison Faraday is one of the founding members of the Toad NUTS volunteer group.
